"Shotgun Spear" created in 3DS MAX 2015.

 

 

I wanted my character to have an epic weapon with a memoriable style.  I went with MAX damage of impaling your enemy and hitting them with both shotgun barrels to clear you blade from soon to be dead body.

This is my 2nd figure I modeled.  I was happy how the flow improved.  I still need to work on the facial aspects.  

 

I will texture and animate this in the coming semester.

Zoeal Stage of Blue Crab created in 3ds Max 2016

 

As my skills develope in 3D modelling, I can now incorporate Mental Ray textures and better lighting. This was a fun low poly model that I rigged and animated also.

With practice, my workflow is improving.  This took me 4 days to model, rig, and animate an idle pose to be exported into Unity.  These two recent assets are for a Crab Game we are developing for IMET in Baltimore.

My first figure I did in 3ds Max came out with some good and bad.  I expect as my workflow improves, I'll be able to dedicate more time to details and textures.

Lonely Robot 'Ultimate Attack' created in 3ds Max 2016

 

This represents my final semester at University of Baltimore. I graduated in Dec 2016 with a B.S. in Simulations and Digital Entertainment.

The rig gave some serious problems as I worked out the kinks in the combination of CAT Bones and Bones to create a tail with some personality. As it was my first go at Spline Kinematics I learned a fair amount.

You can see how this model has some interesting capabilities. Wheel in the lower legs matched with his tail wheel gives the robot high maneuverability. Hidden hand cannons and drop down visor to gives him military grade offense.
